Founded in 2019, School of International Education, Fuzhou Technology and Business University, aims to build an international development platform for its teachers and students, to improve the level and standard of its international education, and to better deepen its international development strategy. As early as before the establishment of School of International Education, Dongfang College of Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University, the predecessor of FTBU, had somewhat cooperation and exchanges with some foreign universities and educational institutions to varying degrees, and many of its graduates went to overseas universities to study for master’s or even doctoral degrees. Since its establishment, School of International Education has made great efforts to build a platform for its teachers and students to learn, communicate and work abroad, to improve the quality of its talent training, and to broaden the international visions and competitiveness of its teachers and students. At the same time, it has also launched long-term and short-term overseas students' study projects, and cultural experience projects; and provided a high-quality education and exchange platform for its students. Its specific responsibilities are as follows: to be responsible for the project management, development and contact of international cooperation in running schools; to assist overseas students to contact with foreign countries to implement learning matters, and to handle the necessary procedures before their going abroad.
