FZTBU’s Fuzhou Alumni Council Held Its Inaugural Meeting

On May 8th, the inaugural meeting of Fuzhou Alumni Council of FZTBU was held at Crowne Plaza Hotel in Rongqiaoshui Town, Fuzhou. Alumni representatives from all walks of life, Assistant President Chen Qingyi, and relevant leaders from the Party and Government Office, and Employment Office attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Chen Qingyi on behalf of our university expressed his gratitude to everyone for their enthusiastic participation in the work of the Alumni Association of FZTBU, and said that when it came to the alumni, they were valuable resources and great wealth of our university, and that the establishment of the Alumni Council made alumni and the university closely linked, and played an important role in the current and future development of the school. He hoped that the Council could not forget the original intention; and would actively plan and forge ahead, promote the sustainable and healthy development of the Alumni Association, and connect the vast number of alumni, exchange and cooperate with each other. On behalf of the preparatory group, Lin Meiyi, chairman of Bashi Group, briefed on the preparatory work, organizational structure and the preparation of candidates for the Council, deliberated and elected the president, vice president, secretary general and Deputy Secretary General of the Council of Fuzhou Alumni Association. Alumni representatives spoke one after another to thank their alma mater for their cultivation, and actively made suggestions for the preparatory work for the establishment of Fuzhou Alumni Association in June to ensure the smooth progress of the conference.
 
The alumni were eager to find the early establishment of Fuzhou Alumni Association of FZTBU. They hoped to better serve alumni by establishing the Alumni Association, promote communication and cooperation between alumna and alumni, and alumni and their alma mater, so that more alumni would have a sense of belonging and served the development of the university.
