Our Teachers and Students Win Many Awards in Large-scale Design Competitions at Home and Abroad

Recently, School of Art and Design, FTBU, has received many pieces of good news, and the design works of its teachers and students have won awards in many large-scale design competitions at home and abroad. In HKDADC, the work “Recycling” of Huang Binna, Yang Wanlin and CAI Pingting of Class 3 of 2020-year Environmental Design won the first prize; the work “Sanyi Drinking Tea” of Ge Wenjie of 2021-year Urban and Rural Planning Upgraded Class 1 won the second prize; Wang hanqian, Chen xinrubidium, Liu Yunjie and Yang Ouni of Class 3 of 2020-year Environmental Design won the third prize for their work “Back to the Mirror”.
 
 
In the International College Students’ Hand-painted Art and Design Competition, the works of 2020-year Environmental Design students such as Lin Rongting and Chen Lingling won 3 silver awards and 12 bronze awards. In the 13th Annual Exhibition of Fine Arts Works in Chinese Colleges and Universities, the work “The Red and Blue Knight” of Yu Xin of 2020-year Upgraded Environmental Design Class 2 won the third prize of the university group.
 
In the 6th International Environmental Protection Public Welfare Design Competition, the works “Wish” and “Missing Earrings” of Zhao Jiaqi of 2021-year Environmental Design Class 2 won two bronze awards.
 
 
In the 6th China Soft Decoration Design Award (Longcheng Award) Competition, Song Guoliang’s work “Yuanhexuan Tea Space Club” won the national finals soft decoration design excellence award for the commercial space.
 
 
In recent years, many works created by the teachers and students of School of Art and Design have achieved good results, and the works are among the best in quality and quantity in the participating institutions, which is also the achievement display of our advanced teaching thinking and methods. School of Art and Design has always paid attention to the deep integration of professional competitions and classroom teaching, through which students’ innovation and practical ability can be improved and their application potential can be stimulated. At the same time, it actively encourages teachers to go deep into the industry, constantly improves teaching and professional standards, and accumulates more useful experience for promoting professional construction.
